The Digest was developed for the NSW Institute of Teachers by the Australian Council for Education Research (ACER) for all accredited teachers. The Digest includes national and international research that has implications for teaching in the NSW context. It was designed to describe the relationship between the research and teaching practice and to provide a tangible benefit for teachers involved in the accreditation process. The original title was Research Digest, however it changed its name to The Digest with issue 2008/2. The Digest
