And the winner is : children's out-of-school activity
Abstract
The bad news is that almost all students are watching television out of school; the good news is that nearly two-thirds of them are also finding time for organised sport. This article examines the results of a 2006 Australian Bureau of Statistics survey of children aged between five and 14 years to find out more about their formal and informal participation in cultural, sporting and leisure activities.
