Abstract
This article explains how Otford Public School, a small primary school in the Illawarra region of New South Wales is embarking on a 1-to-1 laptop program, aiming to equip all students from Year 2 to year 6 with their own laptop computer. The author briefly describes an outback bicycle ride taken as one of the fundraising efforts, before discussing how the computers will be integrated into classroom practice. The current curriculum will be retained, but the laptops will provide teachers and students with choice in their learning.
