Who Can Submit?

Anyone may submit an original article to be considered for publication in Connect provided she or he owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorised by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article. Authors are the initial owners of the copyrights to their works, but by successfully submitting the article to Connect, transfer such ownership of the published article to Connect on the understanding that any royalties or other income from that article will be used to maintain publication of Connect.

General Submission Rules

Articles for Connect may be submitted in any form. Articles should not have been previously published, nor be forthcoming in an archival journal or book (print or electronic). Please note: "publication" in a working-paper series does not constitute prior publication. In addition, by submitting material to Connect, the author is stipulating that the material is not currently under review at another journal (electronic or print) and that she or he will not submit the material to another journal (electronic or print) until the completion of the editorial decision process at Connect. If you have concerns about the submission terms for Connect, please contact the editor.

Note that Connect is not a refereed publication.

Formatting Requirements

Connect has no general rules about the formatting of articles upon initial submission. The preference is for Microsoft Word or RTF files, though handwritten material and PDF files can be accepted. In addition, illustrations and photographs as .jpg or .tiff files are welcomed to support articles. These should be submitted as separate files, not embedded within Word documents for example.
