Abstract
First published in 1952, this pamphlet explores topics such as "What does it mean to be taught?" and "What does it mean to be human?" but also how these can be related to the more customary purposes of teaching. It also explains the teacher purpose in guiding the different kinds of development including physical, social, emotional-aesthetic, intellectual and moral-spiritual.
