Abstract
The evidence map of literature is provided to illustrate some of the different kinds of evidence that can be used to inform early reading instruction: systematic review; literature review; meta-analysis; original research; and professional opinion. The citations given here are examples only. They are not definitive, prescriptive, or ordered in any kind of hierarchy but provided to support the AITSL Reading Instruction Evidence Guide.
