Abstract
In this video David Tout empasises the vital importance of strong numeracy skills particularly in relation to the increasing demand for STEM skills in the workforce. He explains that numeracy is the ability to apply mathematical skills to solve problems in context. David points out that as a nation, Australia's numeracy skills are very low and need to be lifted.
