Abstract
ACER’s annual national Research Conferences review current research-based knowledge in key areas of educational policy and practice. The Research Conference 2000 brings together leading numeracy researchers to examine and discuss research evidence relating to the improvement of numeracy learning in schools. The objective of the Conference is to identify major research findings and to study the implications of those findings for improved numeracy teaching and learning.
